SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY (SERVICE DELIVERY)
Saikas IT-Solutions Pvt Ltd. is primarily a provider of digital IT services and solutions. As such, our “shipping” and “delivery” processes differ from those of traditional e-commerce stores selling physical goods. This policy outlines how we deliver our software, consulting, and digital products to you.
- General Delivery Information: Since our products are digital (software, code, designs, and reports), there is no physical shipping involved for the vast majority of our services. All deliverables are sent via electronic means.
- Modes of Delivery : We deliver our services and products through the following channels:
- Email: Reports, invoices, and small file attachments will be sent to the registered email address provided by the client.
- Cloud Transfer: Larger files, design assets, and document archives will be delivered via secure cloud links (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive).
- Code Repositories: Source code is typically delivered by granting the client access to a private repository (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Live Deployment: For website and application development, “delivery” is often defined as the deployment of the software onto the client’s production server or the launch of the app on the Apple App Store / Google Play Store.
- Timelines and Turnaround: The time required to deliver our services varies greatly depending on the scope of the project.
- Project Milestones: Delivery dates for specific milestones (e.g., UI Design, Beta Version, Final Release) are outlined in the Master Services Agreement (MSA) or the Scope of Work (SOW) document signed at the start of the project.
- Instant Downloads: If you purchase a pre-made template or software license (if applicable), access details will be emailed to you immediately or within 24 hours of successful payment confirmation.
- Maintenance Services: For recurring services (like SEO or AMC), reports are delivered on a monthly cycle as agreed upon in the contract.
- Delays in Delivery: Saikas IT-Solutions Pvt Ltd. strives to meet all agreed-upon deadlines. However, delivery timelines may be adjusted subject to:
- Client Dependencies: Delays caused by the client failing to provide necessary content, access credentials, or approvals on time.
- Third-Party Issues: Delays caused by third-party APIs, hosting providers, or domain registrars.
- Force Majeure: Events beyond our control, including internet outages, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
We will communicate any expected delays to the client via email as soon as they are identified.
- Proof of Delivery: For the purpose of billing and contract closure, “Delivery” is considered complete when:
- We have sent the final files or access credentials to the client’s email.
- The software is live and accessible on the internet.
- The client has signed a “Project Sign-off” or “User Acceptance Testing (UAT)” document.
- Physical Shipping (If Applicable): In rare cases where physical goods (such as hardware, hard drives containing backups, or physical contracts) need to be shipped:
- Carrier: We use standard reputable couriers (e.g., BlueDart, Delhivery, DTDC).
- Costs: Shipping costs will be billed to the client at actuals.
- Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email once the package is dispatched from our Delhi office.
- Timelines: Domestic shipping within India typically takes 3-7 business days.
